Largo wildlife control tip of the month:

Hi David ~ Wishing you were in Fl = ) The last couple of days, i've been smelling something like rotten cabbage & figured it was just the neighbors propane offgassing in this heat. wrong. today i took a flashlight & mirror & found at least 2 decaying mice in the air duct that was put in by last owner when Largo animal control addition was added to 1965 schultz trailer. I feel terrible ~ because I'd closed the vent in the addition when the weather got warmer ~ wanting to keep this cooler room as cool as possible ~ and in closing it ~ probably Largo animal control trapped them! The duct goes down 19" & then turns to go thru wall into kitchen. So i can't reach them with my hands. I first tried using sumac saplings to try & pull them out. Then a bent wire hanger. I can't tell Largo pest control whether I'm getting to them or not ~ it's like I think that I feel some friction ~ but they must be welded there! The farthest one (about 10" away? ~ hard to tell) looks greenish & the other closer one (?6" from bend) you can still see it's fur & the color & everything ~ as if he's recent. There are more shapes farther down the Largo pest control vent too! I feel so terrible ~ it must have been horrible for them! As I am highly sensitive to all chemicals (including most soaps, shampoos, dish detergents, cleaning products, air fresheners, gasoline, paints, Largo wildlife removal perfumes, hand sanitizer, laundry detergent, laundry softners, dryer sheets ...... you get the picture!) I'm at a loss.



Would something like an enzyme product I have for eliminating pet urine Largo wildlife removal odors work on this? Or would hydrogen peroxide complete the dissolving, or just make the smell worse? I looked underneath the addition & it's not finished under that part of it. You can see where the old front patio was ~ but Largo animal trapping it doesn't go all the way across .... I'm sorry ~ I'm babbling at this point! Any suggestions ? Any friends in the North Jersey area ? The only thing that works to eliminate the odor is removal of the carcasses. After that, I spray a product called Bac-Azap on the area. www.wildlifecontrolsupplies.com/ - click on odor control.

Thanks so much for your reply, David ! A friend came who's much stronger than I am & very resourceful also & was able to get them unstuck .... and found countless others farther back Largo exterminator which would predate my move here last fall. As I am seriously allergic to chemicals (since childhood!) ~ I had to find something which is not toxic to me. Have \ bags of zeolite at each end of this duct while i look for an natural Largo exterminator enzymatic product to dissolve the leftovers = ) thanks again for your reply, Anne
