Spring Hill wildlife control tip of the month:

Until I read your site - yikes! I obviously made a huge mistake! I Spring Hill animal control immediately decided to re-open the hole and try to remove the rags. However, today had 60 mph wind gusts and my neighbors are now all busy doing their family weekend stuff. One tried to reassure me there probably was no squirrel if the insulation was outside on my lawn - Spring Hill animal control surely they were taking it away to another site. But, by morning, the cracker-bait was gone (although the trap not sprung, no mouse droppings so has to be squirrel). Now the plan is to put out enough food to keep the mother squirrel happy until at least tomorrow or Spring Hill pest control Monday when the wind dies down and hopefully I can get another neighbor to help, so that maybe the mother won't feel she has to chew another hole out. (My logic, I realize, has no validity other than wishing-makes-it-so.) I'd decided to follow your excellent advice and wait until the babies were grown, then trap them all. BUT - I just read another post somewhere about how squirrels - and now there would be 5 of them?!! - deposit Spring Hill wildlife removal smelly pee and poop all over your attic while they're there and cause a flea infestation.

My attic - except for the knee-deep insulation part where the nest undoubtedly is - is chockablock with wardrobe boxes and huge piles of expensive-to-replace moving pads. Given all the variables - attic full of stuff, nest down in the soffit probably behind the wall, in an area full of loose insulation, low roofline, and giant a/c soft piping that can be Spring Hill animal trapping ripped if someone trips on or kicks one, cost of trapper and repairing wall once it's opened - what is the best way to proceed? It would be a huge project, but I could put everything in the attic inside contractors' bags and then tarp everything on top. But wouldn't they still pee and poop all inside my walls, Spring Hill exterminator insulation, and onto the wood floors? When I was looking for a home, the lingering smell of cat pee - even 'tho I used to have cats myself, now two dogs - was a deal breaker.
